    WHERE OUR STORY BEGINS

    A Mission Born From September 11

    911 USA Hope was born from the experiences of Fabrizio Bivona, a firefighter/paramedic and 9/11 rescuer who responded at Ground Zero.

    Amid the devastation of September 11, Fabrizio witnessed extraordinary courage, compassion, and sacrifice. He also experienced profound personal loss, including friends and fellow first responders who never came home.

    In the years that followed, he began preserving his photographs, diary entries, memories, and the stories of those who served. That work became Gone But Not Forgotten: Tribute to Voices Not Heard—a deeply personal effort to ensure that acts of bravery, kindness, and humanity would not be lost to time.

    WHY 911 USA HOPE WAS CREATED

    From Remembrance to a Living Sanctuary

    As the years passed, Fabrizio recognized that remembrance needed to continue beyond the pages of a book.

    911 USA Hope and The First Responder Sanctuary were created to provide a lasting digital home for these memories and legacies—a place where families, fellow responders, and future generations can remember, reflect, and preserve the stories of those who served.

    Here, we remember more than how our heroes died. We celebrate how they lived, whom they loved, how they served, and the lives they touched.

    The First Responder Sanctuary is dedicated to honoring the memory, valor, and enduring legacies of our fallen first responders.

    Founded by a 9/11 rescuer, our mission is to provide a warm, dignified, and compassionate digital haven where their sacrifices are never forgotten and their stories continue to inspire future generations.
