Every Hero Has a Story Worth Preserving

The First Responder Sanctuary honors heroes whose service, courage, compassion, and impact deserve to be remembered.

This space is separate from our September 11 Memorial Wall and welcomes tributes to firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS professionals, dispatchers, rescue personnel, military members, healthcare responders, volunteers, and other individuals whose service made a meaningful difference.

Your hero does not have to have died in the line of duty. You may honor an active or retired responder, a veteran, a fallen hero, a community servant, or another individual whose life and service deserve recognition.

The First Responder Sanctuary recognizes people whose courage, service, sacrifice, and compassion have made a lasting difference.

Firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS professionals, paramedics, dispatchers, emergency management personnel, and rescue workers.

Active-duty service members, veterans, and individuals whose military service reflects courage, dedication, and sacrifice.

Nurses, physicians, healthcare professionals, emergency personnel, and others who served communities during times of crisis.

Volunteers, public servants, rescuers, caregivers, and everyday people whose actions demonstrate extraordinary courage, compassion, or service.
